Elaine Chambers

General Manager

Elaine Chambers, born and raised in Whitehorse Yukon, is a member of the Champagne & Aishihik First Nation and of the Crow Clan. She has been employed with däna Näye Ventures since 1987 and is currently the General Manager.

Her career began as Office Manager for the Yukon Indian Development Corporation in 1987 where she supervised the bookkeeping and accounting activities for their subsidiary companies. In 1990 Elaine took over similar responsibilities for däna Näye Ventures and launched her career with them. She was promoted to Business Advisor, ABDP External Delivery in 1993. One year later, she became Manager, Financial Services and in 1996 was promoted to General Manager.

Since 1996 to Fall of 2008, Elaine has represented the Yukon on the CANDO Board of Directors. In addition, she represents däna Näye Ventures on the NACCA Board of Directors and has served as Chairperson, Secretary/Treasurer.

Elaine currently is on the Board for RAB Energy Group Inc. (Northerm Windows) and Kilrich.

She is a proud mother of two grown children, Odessa and Tina and a grandma to Kael.

Raul D. Dioquino

Manager Finance and Administration

Raul migrated to Canada from the Philippines in April 1989. Prior to joining däna Näye Ventures where he is bringing his over 20 years of controllership functions in various industries, he worked for 1 year with Carmacks Hotel Limited as their Office/Accounting Manager.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by profession, he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, major in Accounting from the Philippines where he attended his MBA studies. His CPA designation as well as his university studies are equivalent to the US CPA designation and to any University Degree in the United States of America as evaluated by Foundation for International Services Inc. based in the State of Washington.

A good chess player and an avid golfer who is consistently inconsistent with his golf games, he loves music being a good piano, guitar and ukulele player. He is married with 5 kids, all grownups but one, who is in Grade 8 at Holy Cross Secondary School in Surrey, B.C. He loves to spend quality time with his family by travelling together with them. His favorite quote written by an anonymous writer is quote, "when you go upstairs, be sure to look at those you left behind, for you will surely meet them when you go down the stairs, " unquote, while one of his favorite books is The Making of the Footprints, by Margaret Fishback Powers.

Holly Underschultz

Manager Financial Services

Holly came to work with däna Näye Ventures as their Financial Services Officer in 1999 and in 2007 was promoted to Assistant Manager of Financial Services. She is responsible for a client base of Yukon and Northern B.C. businesses who have, or who are in the process of receiving financial assistance from däna Näye Ventures.

Holly Underschultz Manager Financial Services at däna Näye Ventures.Holly worked as an accounting technician with two chartered accountant firms in Edmonton, prior to coming to the Yukon. She also has experience in administration and in the retail industry having worked as the Office and Credit Manager with Home Hardware/ Irly Bird.

She was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta and graduated from NAIT in 1988 with a Diploma in Accounting and Business Administration.

Holly has one grown son and enjoys music, gardening and a variety of hand crafts.

Elreen

Accounting Officer

Elreen Tungol, Accounting Officer

Elreen was granted an immigrant status in October of 2010 but returned to the Philippines in the same month to finish her university studies. After graduating with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the University of the City of Manila in March, 2011, she challenged the Certified Public Accountant's (CPA) uniform final examination which she successfully passed in October 2011. She came back to Canada in February 2012. Prior to joining dana NAYE Ventures as an Accounting Officer in mid part of Aug 2012, she worked as a bookkeeper at Accurate Accounting Services and also a part time Customer Service Manager at Wal-Mart.

Elreen came from a family of accountants, a family of 6 in which 5 are accountants and 1 Mechanical Engineer. Her goal is to pursue a Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation here in Canada which she is on her fourth level student.

Elreen enjoys travelling, online shopping and reading romance novels during her leisure time, which often she doesn't get.

Amy Bruce

Administrative Assistant

Amy Bruce, Administrative Assistant, Reception

Amy was born in Toronto, Ontario and moved Whitehorse in 2003. Before coming to DNV, Amy worked in Child Care. Although she loved this work, she was looking for a new challenge, and thus came to däna Näye. Amy welcomed her son in 2005 and her daughter in 2009. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and can often be found playing at the park with her kids.

She is also a fish enthusiast with a vast fish family. Amy often brings her kids to shop for fish with her, and choosing the most unusual fish becomes a family affair!

In her down time, Amy reads books, likes going for neighborhood walks and is currently looking for a canine companion to join her family!

Corey Riemer

Financial Services Officer

Corey was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon and graduated in 2008 from F.H. Collins after completing 12 years in French Immersion programming. Corey joined the DNV team in June of 2012 and brought 2 years of banking service experience from the Frist Nations Bank of Canada with him. Corey enjoys working in the financial industry and hopes to continue by pursuing a career and potential future education within the field.

Michael Durham

External Delivery Officer

Michael grew up in New Brunswick and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University. In 2007 he moved to Whitehorse to where his wife had grown up. Within the first month Michael was hooked on life in the north.

External Delivery Officer Michael joined dana Naye Ventures with 5 years of commercial and retail banking experience through BMO Bank of Montreal. Prior to moving to Whitehorse he had 5 years of customer service experience with an inbound contact centre and 3 years in hospitality management.

Michael looks forward to continuing to help individuals and organizations obtain their business goals.

Donna Moore

Business Services Officer

Donna's employment with DNV started in the summer of 2011. Donna recently relocated to Whitehorse from the NWT where she and her husband spent over ten years working within First Nations Governments and Municipalities.

Financial Services OfficerDonna took her first Northern contract in 1999, and moved to Nunavut where she spent her time working with Inuit organizations in training and capacity development. She accepted a transfer in late 2000 to NWT where she resided for over ten years.

Donna has over 12 years of experience working within economic development organizations in a variety of roles. She enjoys meeting and working with new clients, while assisting them in addressing their needs and goals.

Logan Freese

Financial Services Officer

Financial Services Officer at däna Näye Ventures.Logan originally came to däna Näye Ventures in September 2006 after two and a half years with CIBC where he gained valuable experience in Customer Service and Personal/Small Business lending programs. In September of 2008, Logan left däna Näye Ventures to go and work for the City of Whitehorse. After a year's absence, which he spent gaining knowledge and more experience in accounting practices and collections methods, he returned to däna Näye Ventures in October of 2009.

Born and raised in Haines Junction, Yukon, Logan decided to return to Whitehorse after attending Lethbridge Community College's General Studies Program to seek out new employment opportunities.

Logan is an avid sports fan and outdoorsman and participates in several recreational sports leagues as well as enjoying many outdoor activities.

External Delivery Officer, Aboriginal Business Canada

Ben is returning to däna Näya Ventures after a three year hiatus with a First Nation owned Commercial Bank. Residing in Whitehorse since 2005, Ben came back to the territory after years of school, work and travel. Ben met his wife in 2005 and now has three beautiful children.

Ben has 11 years of Commercial and Retail banking experience in Vancouver and Whitehorse. Previous to banking Ben had managed several tourism related businesses in Vancouver.

Ben looks to continue working with First Nation entrepreneurs and businesses in Whitehorse and surrounding areas to help them achieve their goals.
