Aboriginal Organizations
Aboriginal Business Development Program - There are over 20,000 Aboriginal businesses in Canada, active in every sector of the economy. Since 1989, ABDP has worked with over 5,000 firms, providing financial and non-funded support.
NACCA - National Aboriginal Capital Corporation Association is a formal organization dedicated to helping Aboriginal Capital Corporations provide new business services.
First Nations Bank of Canada - däna Näye Ventures, YIDC and Champagne Aishihik Trust continue to maintain their respective investments in the FNBC. They are rooted in the Aboriginal Capital Corporation movement. FNBC is committed to being a leader in providing progressive financial services to their client base.
CANDO - Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers is Aboriginal controlled, community based and membership driven. As a federally registered, non-profit society, CANDO has been instrumental in facilitating partnerships with EDO's, academics, Aboriginal leaders and senior corporate and government representatives.

Canadian Business Directory - Canada's Business and Consumer Site is produced by Industry Canada, a department of the Federal government which employs over 4,000 people across Canada. The department's mission is to work with Canadians to build a growing competitive, knowledge-based economy. Industry Canada hopes to improve conditions for investment, enhance Canada's innovation performance, help make Canada the most connected nation in the world, increase Canada's share of global trade, and build a fair, efficient and competitive marketplace.

This site has an on-line quiz that allows you to compare yourself with successful self-made business people on some key traits and characteristics. Completing it will give you some insight to your distinctive style.
Service Canada - Human Resources Development Canada is one of the largest federal departments in terms of both its scope and mandate, with programs and services that respond to the needs of children and families, youth, seniors, the unemployed, persons with disabilities, Aboriginal peoples, and Canadians in the workplace.

YTG Tourism Industry Resource Centre The Tourism Industry Resource Centre is designed to meet research and information needs of clients and staff by providing tourism related research tools and guidance. The Centre is operated by the Industry Services Branch, Department of Tourism, Government of Yukon.
Statistics & Licensing
Statistics Canada - Stats Canada's Web site provides for free and for fee economic, social and census data plus daily analysis of statistical releases.
YTG Statistics - This website presents publicly available statistical reports in PDF format with related Excel files (added as time permits). Reports are listed according to the frequency of their release. Only the most current copy is presented.
